Lot 990: Georgian Style Mahogany Glazed Bookcase
A large mahogany bookcase constructed with mahogany and mahogany veneers. The piece features a dentil-moulded cornice above twin glazed doors. Each door is decorated with a diamond-patterned (lozenge) lattice of wooden glazing bars. The interior contains three adjustable wooden shelves set into vertical grooves on the side and back panels. The cabinet is supported by four ogee bracket feet. No maker’s marks or labels are present.
