A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y-12 Silver Jubilee Ford Model T van, manufactured in England by Lesney Products & Co. Ltd. This die-cast metal model is finished in a vibrant green colourway with a contrasting white plastic roof and yellow spoked wheels featuring white-wall tyres. The vehicle represents a 1912 Ford Model T delivery van. The sides of the van are decorated with commemorative silver-tone graphics marking the 25th anniversary of the series, featuring the text ’25 YEARS MODELS OF YESTERYEAR 1981′ and ‘Silver Jubilee Edition’. The green-painted metal base is cast with the legends ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’, ‘MATCHBOX®’, ‘MODELS OF YESTERYEAR’, ‘1912 FORD MODEL T’, ‘© 1978’, and ‘LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO LTD’. It is presented in its original cardboard window display box, which includes a plastic inner tray and is marked ‘Y-12/43’.
