Lot 191: A Vintage Corgi Classics Pickfords Scammell Crusader Truck and Trailer Set
A vintage Corgi Classics Pickfords Scammell Crusader truck and trailer set, produced to a 1:50 scale. The set features a three-axle tractor unit finished in the blue and orange Pickfords Heavy Haulage Ltd livery, marked with the fleet number M9508. It is accompanied by a detachable five-axle King low-loader trailer with a removable gooseneck and a large simulated tarpaulin-covered crate load. The model is constructed primarily from die-cast metal with detailed plastic components and rubber tyres. The original packaging is printed with the Corgi manufacturer logo, the Pickfords name, and the model reference CC12605. Included within the box is a certificate of authenticity stating this is model number 1220 of a limited edition of 2,700 units worldwide. The lot is further supported by an original instruction sheet, a sealed bag of accessories, and an address card for Corgi Classics Ltd of Southampton.
