Lot 1013: A Vintage Origin Doll Making Kit
A vintage Origin doll making kit, comprising a collection of unpainted porcelain components and associated accessories. The lot features several bisque heads with open eye sockets, together with assorted limbs including arms and legs, some of which are housed in original bubble wrap. The components are accompanied by two boxed wigs bearing printed purple labels for ‘Crowning Wigs by Doll Works, Inc.’. The original cardboard storage box lid displays printed Japanese Katakana characters reading ‘オリジン’ (Origin) and an affixed reference photograph of a finished character doll. Handwritten text on the lid further identifies the contents as ‘Bisque – ready to paint’ and ‘More etc.’.
