Lot 1086: A Vintage Plastic Reptile Faunarium and Resin Enclosure Accessories
A vintage plastic reptile faunarium and resin enclosure accessories, intended for the housing and enrichment of small animals or reptiles. The group features a clear plastic faunarium-style tank with a black, ventilated, removable lid incorporating a central clear plastic hinged access hatch. Accompanying the tank are two natural coconut shell halves with entry holes designed as hides, alongside two cast resin decorative ornaments, one in the form of a crocodilian or dinosaur skull and the other styled as a tiered stack of weathered logs. The collection also includes a shallow, yellow-toned cast resin water or food dish, a clear plastic feeding bowl, and a small dark circular dish. The lid of the carrier bears a white adhesive label reading HCP Auctions South West followed by Lot 1086 and www.hcpauctions.net. A separate white box visible in image 2 is labelled with the name HCP Auctions South West and Lot 1087.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition. The clear plastic carrier shows visible surface scratches and minor clouding throughout its main body (photo 1). The resin ornaments and coconut hides appear structurally sound, although they show signs of dust and minor residue from previous use. The hinged access hatch on the black lid remains functional, and no significant cracks or chips are observed on the resin components or the plastic tank.
