Lot 12: A Vintage TIMco and Quik Drive Steel Workshop Hardware Collection
A vintage TIMco and Quik Drive steel workshop hardware collection, comprising a substantial quantity of trade fasteners and application tools. The lot includes a partially full cardboard box of TIMco professional galvanised square twist nails, size 30 x 3.75 mm, as well as a large volume of black phosphate-coated screws on yellow and white plastic collated strips designed for use with auto-feed systems. A yellow and black ‘Quik Drive’ auto-feed screw driving attachment is present, featuring the printed warning ‘DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN’. The hardware is organised across numerous recycled household containers, including glass jars with lids bearing the printed text ‘TESCO QUALITY GUARANTEED’ and ink-stamped dates such as ‘APR 95’ and ‘MAR 96’. Additional vintage metal tins are included, featuring brand names including ‘Maxwell House’ and ‘Somerfield Drinking Chocolate’. The collection is accompanied by a pair of heavily oxidised steel pincers.
