Lot 175: Vintage Flymo Mow 'n' Vac Plastic Electric Hover Lawnmower
A vintage Flymo Mow ‘n’ Vac plastic electric hover lawnmower, comprising a characteristic orange moulded plastic main housing and a grey plastic rear collection assembly. The unit is designed with a black tubular metal handle supporting an orange plastic switch box and operating lever. A length of orange mains power cable is coiled around the handle assembly. The internal red plastic casing of the collection chamber is embossed with the readable brand and model ‘Flymo Mow ‘n’ Vac’. A yellow adhesive safety warning label featuring instructional pictograms is affixed to the rear of the collection unit. The handle assembly also bears a white adhesive sticker marked ‘175’.
