Lot 193: A Vintage Collection of Four Weathered Cast Stone Garden Ornaments
A vintage collection of four weathered cast stone garden ornaments. The collection features a birdbath designed with a standing cherub figure supporting a large shell-shaped bowl with a scalloped rim on a circular integral base. Accompanying the birdbath are two figural frog ornaments in realistic crouched poses and a square plaque decorated with high-relief foliate motifs of oak leaves and acorns. Each piece is constructed from reconstituted stone and exhibits a heavy, naturally aged patina from long-term outdoor exposure. A white rectangular adhesive label is present on the interior of the birdbath bowl, printed with the digits 193; this label is not legible as a maker’s name. No permanent manufacturer marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on any of the objects.
