Lot 207: A Collection of Five Vintage Glazed Ceramic Garden Planters
A collection of five vintage glazed ceramic garden planters in assorted sizes and finishes. The collection consists of four medium-to-large circular planters and one small cylindrical pot. Two of the larger planters are finished in a deep navy-blue glaze. A third circular planter features a horizontal two-tone glaze in tan and olive-green. The fourth medium planter is finished in a light aqua-blue glaze with a moulded geometric diamond-patterned exterior surface. The small cylindrical pot is finished in a plain matte grey-beige glaze. All pieces are of heavyweight ceramic construction suitable for outdoor use. A white adhesive label is attached to the rim of the aqua-blue planter which reads HCP Auctions South West, Lot 207, and www.hcpauctions.net. No maker’s marks are visible on the bodies or interiors of the items.
