Lot 226: A Collection of Vintage and Brand New Furniture, Door and Utility Hardware
A collection of vintage and brand new furniture, door and utility hardware, comprising an assortment of furniture components, manual tools and exterior architectural fittings. The collection includes a group of furniture knobs and drawer pulls in turned wood with various stained finishes and white glazed porcelain, contained within a repurposed blue plastic laundry box bearing a white adhesive auction sticker reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 226. A group of manual tools features two vintage heavy-duty chrome-plated steel staple guns, one with a red contoured plastic handle and the other with a black textured grip and tension adjustment knob, accompanied by several boxes of replacement fasteners in a cardboard box with a handwritten white label reading 3394. The architectural hardware consists of unused retail stock in a clear plastic bin including a galvanised Brenton bolt with fixings by Eliza Tinsley and a black-coated steel Suffolk door latch kit by Select, together with several galvanised J-hooks.
