Lot 241: A Collection of Vintage Record and Dunlop Cast Iron Workshop Clamping Tools
A collection of vintage workshop clamping tools, primarily of British manufacture and constructed from cast iron with steel screw mechanisms. The assortment includes a heavy-duty G-clamp finished in blue paint, featuring raised lettering to the frame reading RECORD – 119 -. Also included is a small bench vice, similarly finished in blue paint, with casting marks reading MADE IN ENGLAND and vertically DUNLOP. A teal hammer-tone finished drill press vice is present, alongside approximately three additional G-clamps in varying sizes and finishes, including one with a red plastic protective cap to the pad. Each tool features a traditional steel tommy bar and threaded screw assembly.
