Lot 257: A Collection of Vintage Ceramic and Plastic Garden Planters
A collection of vintage ceramic and plastic garden planters, including glazed stoneware, terracotta, and metal examples. The assortment features a large, dark blue glazed ceramic planter decorated with a white motif of flowering branches, together with a white glazed ceramic planter featuring blue foliate patterns. The collection further includes a traditional unglazed tapered terracotta planter showing significant weathering, a circular purple plastic planter, and a small light blue metal bucket-style planter with a printed bumblebee and dot pattern. A rectangular black plastic seedling tray or trough is also present. A white adhesive label attached to the rim of the dark blue glazed planter reads HCP Auctions South West Lot 257. A similar label is present in the black plastic tray reading Lot 281. No manufacturer marks are visible to the exterior surfaces; bases are not accessible for inspection as the pots are filled with soil and plant matter.
