Lot 271: A Collection of Vintage Garden Planters and Stoneware Vessels
A collection of vintage garden planters and stoneware vessels, including a large bulbous terracotta urn and various traditional utility items. The lot features a large, unglazed terracotta storage jar with a narrow neck, showing significant weathering and white mineral efflorescence across the surface. Also included is a cylindrical salt-glazed stoneware vessel with a rounded shoulder and a small central aperture, traditionally used as a domestic foot warmer. A galvanised metal bucket is present, fitted with integrated rope handles and showing surface oxidation. The collection further comprises a white-glazed cylindrical stoneware crock containing a heavily rusted cast metal lizard ornament, alongside several weathered terracotta plant pots of varying sizes with heavy moss growth.
