Lot 352: A Vintage Cap'Monde Pine Wood Wine Accessory Presentation Case
A vintage Cap’Monde pine wood wine accessory presentation case, designed for the storage and display of a multi-piece sommelier set. The rectangular box is constructed from light-toned pine with a natural finish, featuring brass-toned metal latches and a brown composite handle. The exterior lid is printed with a central logo depicting a stylized globe showing the continents of Europe and Africa, flanked to the left by the text ‘CAP SUR LES VINS DU MONDE’ in an arc, and to the right by ‘CAP’MONDE’, where the ‘O’ is represented by a compass rose. The interior is lined with a red flocked material, moulded with compartments to accommodate wine accessories, including five horizontal recesses and five semi-circular indentations. A pink circular adhesive sticker is applied to the top right of the exterior lid, and a white rectangular auction label bearing the number ‘370’ is adhered to the interior lid. No accessories are included with this lot.
