Lot 359: A Collection of Vintage Mixed Media Decorative Wares in a Wicker Basket
A collection of vintage mixed media decorative household wares, contained within a white-painted rectangular woven wicker basket. The group features a wooden shorebird figurine with a distressed white-painted finish, supported by a metal rod on a rectangular grey-painted base. Included is a light-blue glazed ceramic lidded jar decorated with white polka dots, having a terracotta-coloured rim and lid. A small white-framed monochrome photograph of a football squad carries the printed text TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR along the top edge. The lot further comprises a clear glass vase with a natural rope collar, a chunky wooden star, a large wooden cleaning brush with dark natural bristles, and a small red-painted folk art style figure. A white adhesive label from Auctions South West is applied to the side of the basket, printed with Lot 378.
