A vintage Goodmans Boogie Box double-cassette karaoke system with matching external speakers. The unit is constructed from black moulded plastic and features a four-band analog radio tuner covering FM, MW, SW1, and SW2, alongside a dual cassette deck. The cassette decks are labelled for specific functions, with Deck A marked HI-SPEED DUBBING and REC/PLAY, and Deck B marked CONTINUOUS PLAY and PLAYBACK. The control panel facilitates karaoke use with twin inputs for MIC 1 and MIC 2, accompanied by dials for MIC 1 VOLUME, MIC 2 VOLUME, and ECHO. Further controls include MAIN VOLUME, BALANCE, and FUNCTION selectors. The two separate speaker units are designed with a distinctive square motif accented by red and white borders behind metal mesh grilles. A manufacturer’s mark reading Goodmans is printed in red at the bottom left of the main unit. The front grille bears a handwritten inscription in a light medium reading Boogie Box.
