Lot 399: A Vintage Salton H3 Hotray Glass and Metal Food Warming Tray
A vintage Salton H3 Hotray glass and metal food warming tray of rectangular form. The unit features a toughened glass surface with an integrated dark reddish-brown heating element pattern, which includes a dedicated circular zone at one end. This circular motif is printed centrally with the text salton HOT SPOT. The tray is constructed with a metal base and is fitted with two wooden handles at the narrow ends for lifting. A black power cord with a moulded UK three-pin plug is attached. On the underside, a rectangular metallic adhesive label is printed with Salton HOTRAY, warnings in three languages including DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER, electrical specifications such as WATTS 200 and VOLTS 200-220V AC / 240 (320) 240V AC, and MODEL H3. The label also confirms it was made in England by SALTON LTD. Twickenham. Additional markings include a white adhesive auction lot sticker reading 399 and a small handwritten label reading Working / S677 / PERFECT.
