Lot 448: A Collection of Vintage Myott Son & Co Ltd Ceramic and Glass Tableware
A collection of vintage Myott Son & Co Ltd ceramic and glass tableware, encompassing a variety of functional and decorative vessels. A central piece is an earthenware bowl featuring a hand-painted floral border, the base of which bears a green printed mark consisting of a crown symbol above the text ‘MYOTT SON & CO LTD’, ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’, ‘HAND PAINTED’, and ‘OLD MILL’, accompanied by the alphanumeric code ‘1595 P’. The lot further includes a square teapot with a red-painted finish and a corresponding red finial, a red glass votive holder, and a large clear cut glass bowl with a starburst pattern to the base. Also present are two clear glass goblets, an amber-tinted glass pitcher with a ruffled rim, and an earthenware bowl decorated with an autumn leaf motif. A large circular platter displays a transfer-printed design of butterflies and flowering branches, and a trio of small lidded jars with a turquoise glaze sits on a matching stand.
