Lot 450: A Collection of Decorative Ceramics and Household Items including Kernewek Pottery
A collection of decorative ceramics and household items including kitchenware, ornaments, and accessories. The lot features a salt-glazed stoneware jar by Kernewek Pottery, featuring a two-tone glaze with a brown rim and tan body, decorated with a beaded band to the shoulder. The base of the jar bears a printed brown mark in the centre depicting a coat of arms with the motto ONE AND ALL, encircled by the words KERNEWEK, GOONHAVERN, and CORNWALL ENGLAND. Also included is a small hand-painted ceramic vase with a bulbous body and flared rim, decorated with a sunset landscape featuring silhouetted trees, hand-signed in black ink to the base B. J. Diné with a horizontal stroke above the final letter. A hand-painted earthenware novelty teapot is present, designed in the form of a thatched cottage with a handle and spout moulded to resemble tree branches. Accessories include a brown leather wallet by Woodland Leathers, housed in a white cardboard box and embossed with a tree emblem within a hexagonal border, and a boxed JML Bobble Off lint remover. The lot is completed by a resin solar-powered owl garden light, a Plumnet circular wall clock with a white face and black Arabic numerals, a white-painted cast iron sign reading WELCOME, and an assortment of ceramic bowls and a speckled cream jug with a gold-coloured rim.
