Lot 476: A Vintage Ribbed Milk Glass and Polished Brass Light Fixture
A vintage ribbed milk glass and polished brass light fixture, presented as new old stock within its original retail packaging. The spherical shade is constructed from white opalescent milk glass featuring a melon-ribbed or fluted exterior and a lipped fitter rim. The mounting assembly includes a polished brass-finished metal gallery and circular ceiling rose, which remain sealed in their original protective plastic packaging. The fixture is equipped with a standard bayonet cap (BC/B22) lamp holder and unused original wiring. The lot includes a vintage Ring brand 40W clear lightbulb in its original box, bearing a retail stamp from Trago Mills with a price of 85p and a barcode reading 5 011274 743000. A partial instruction leaflet is also present within the box.
