Lot 501: A Vintage The Collection Wool Blazer and BHS Trousers
A vintage The Collection wool blazer and BHS trousers, comprising a navy blue and mid-grey two-piece clothing ensemble. The navy blue wool blazer is designed in a double-breasted style featuring peak lapels and a six-button front, with four gold-tone crested buttons used for the closure. The exterior breast pocket is embellished with an embroidered bullion-style crest depicting a gold anchor within a green laurel wreath, topped with a crown, and a blue ribbon at the base reading TRINIDAD. The interior is finished with a dark green fabric lining and includes two labels: a sewn-in rectangular cream label reading THE COLLECTION and a woven maroon label for the Italian mill reading MODESTO BERTOTTO BIELLA ITALY. The accompanying mid-grey trousers are branded bhs and feature a flat-front design with a matching waistband and belt loops. A white size tag is present inside the trousers, bearing the bhs logo and recording measurements for a 36-inch waist and a 31-inch inside leg. A white adhesive auction lot label numbered 501 is attached to the right sleeve of the blazer.
