Lot 503: A Collection of Vintage and Antique Sheet Music and Music Books
A collection of vintage and antique sheet music and music books, primarily paper and cardstock, housed in a heavy-duty woven polypropylene sack. The lot features a substantial quantity of printed musical works, including a prominent volume titled Masterpieces of Piano Music: Frederic Chopin published by Amsco. Further contents include sheet music by C.P.E. Bach, as well as various spiral-bound tutor books and loose-leaf score booklets from different periods and publishers. A white adhesive label from HCP Auctions South West reading Lot 503 is attached to the sack alongside a label reading Lot 570 (photo 1). The Chopin book bears the Amsco mark at the lower edge, while other visible fragments within the sack display printed text including C. P., TA-R, and OOM-DE (photo 2).
