Lot 509: A Collection of Vintage Glazed Earthenware Novelty Teapots and a Wax Warmer
A collection of vintage glazed earthenware novelty teapots and a wax warmer, comprising three figural designs and a utility piece. One teapot is modelled as a jousting knight in silver-toned armour riding a horse draped in a red and pink caparison with raised gold-toned stars. A second teapot takes the form of a naturalistic pheasant on a moss-green base, hand-painted in shades of ochre, red, and blue. The third is fashioned as a tan monochrome kitchen range, relief-moulded with domestic utensils. The lot is completed by a two-piece electric wax warmer with a faux-white marble finish and copper-toned script reading “Home is where Mom is”. An adhesive lot tag is present on the knight figure reading “HCP Auctions South West Lot 509”, and a small tag numbered “8” is attached to the white power cord. No manufacturer marks are legible on the bases.
