Lot 51: A Vintage Appleby Cast Metal and Glass Industrial Bulkhead Light
A vintage Appleby cast metal and glass industrial bulkhead light fitting, presented as New Old Stock (NOS). The rectangular unit is constructed with a cast metal base and a clear glass lens featuring a distinctive pressed waffle or cross-hatch pattern designed for light diffusion. The lens is held in place by two brass-coloured flat-head screws. The light is housed in its original manufacturer-branded cardboard box. The exterior of the box is repeatedly printed with a black ink wordmark reading APPLEBY contained within a rounded rectangular cartouche. The packaging also bears a white rectangular adhesive label printed with the text HCP Auctions South West Lot 051 www.hcpauctions.net, alongside a small white sticker with the handwritten characters 1080 and a circular yellow price label reading 2.35 and MWF 7050.
