An Indonesian-made vintage Royal Doulton Classic Winnie the Pooh ceramic nursery bowl and plate set, dating from the Christening Collection released circa 2001. The set consists of a circular side plate and a matching deep nursery bowl, both constructed from white glazed ceramic. The decoration is executed in a multi-coloured pastel palette in shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green, featuring illustrations in the Classic Pooh style after E.H. Shepard. The plate rim is divided into coloured segments naming Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, and Pooh, with a central scene depicting Tigger, Pooh, and Eeyore with a gift and the text Time for a Christening day. you truly are a special gift. The bowl features a similar panelled rim and a central illustration of Pooh and Piglet reading a book, encircled by the script Christening day is a loving day.
