Lot 562: A Collection of Ten Vintage Irish Heritage Collection Miniature Cottages
A collection of ten vintage miniature cottages from The Irish Heritage Collection, hand-painted and manufactured in Ireland. The group features a variety of traditional architectural forms, including single-storey thatched dwellings, larger multi-gabled farmhouses, and a coastal cottage integrated into a stepped rocky cliffside base. Each model is constructed from cast resin, with surfaces finely textured to represent natural stone walling, slate tiling, and straw thatch. The decoration includes detailed floral landscaping with climbing greenery and garden shrubs in various shades of green and red. The base of at least one model is finished with green felt and carries a circular gold-coloured adhesive label. This label is printed with the text THE IRISH HERITAGE COLLECTION around the top border, MADE IN IRELAND at the bottom, and identifies a specific model in the centre as FISHERMAN’S COTTAGE.
