Lot 62: An Antique Victorian Green Painted Wooden Door
An antique Victorian green painted wooden door, featuring a traditional stile-and-rail construction with recessed timber panels. The frame retains a heavily distressed green paint finish which shows significant weathering and wear, while the recessed panels display the natural wood grain. A small white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the upper left stile, bearing the printed number 46719; no other manufacturer’s marks, stamps, or signatures are discernible. The top rail presents a rough, unpainted edge, and the piece is presented in a salvaged state without hinges, handles, or associated hardware.
