Lot 783: Vintage Dyson DC08 Plastic and Metal Canister Vacuum Cleaner
A vintage Dyson DC08 plastic and metal canister vacuum cleaner, finished in a two-tone grey and silver scheme. The unit utilises bagless cyclone technology, featuring a transparent plastic dust collection bin marked with a printed MAX fill line indicator above three horizontal lines. The appliance is equipped with a flexible grey ribbed plastic hose and a silver-toned metal telescopic extension wand with an adjustable grey plastic grip. A lowercase printed mark reading dyson is present on the hose coupling at the main motor unit. A white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the telescopic wand, bearing the text HCP Auctions South West, Lot 783, and www.hcpauctions.net. The appliance is in a used state with visible internal dust and is sold as an untested unit.
Condition report:
The vacuum cleaner shows visible signs of domestic use, including a significant accumulation of dust and fine debris within the transparent collection bin and the cyclone assembly (photo 1). The exterior grey and silver plastic housing exhibits general surface scuffing and light scratching (photo 1). The metal telescopic wand shows minor surface scuffs and wear to the plastic adjustment sleeve (photo 2). The unit has not been tested for power-on status or suction performance.
