Lot 819: Vintage Wall's Cornetto Soft Commercial Display Freezer
A vintage Wall’s Cornetto Soft commercial display freezer of compact proportions, designed for retail or ice cream van point-of-sale use. The unit is constructed with a grey plastic and metal frame, featuring large-format graphic wraps on the side panels in red and yellow with the heart-shaped Wall’s logo above the words Cornetto Soft in a stylized script. The cooling compartment is accessed via two flat, sliding glass lids with integrated grey plastic handles. The interior is finished in white coated metal and contains a multi-sectional white wire-mesh basket system for stock organisation. A manufacturer’s identification label is located on the side panel, though the specific technical data and model information are not legible. Additional markings include a small adhesive sticker on the lid frame printed with 618 and a handwritten note taped to the glass reading Wall’s Ice cream Freezer £40 Res. (893). A white power cable is attached at the rear.

Condition report:
The freezer is presented in used commercial condition with visible signs of previous service. There is a significant accumulation of adhesive residue and surface staining across the glass lids and the surrounding plastic frame (photo 1). A handwritten paper note is affixed to the top glass with tape. The interior chamber and wire baskets appear relatively clean with only minor surface scuffing (photo 2). The refrigeration mechanism and electronic components have not been tested for functionality.
