Lot 847: A Collection of Vintage Vinyl LP Records Including The Best of Cilla Black
A collection of vintage vinyl LP records including The Best of Cilla Black, featuring several long-playing albums from the 1960s and 1970s. The primary item is a Cilla Black compilation album on the Parlophone label, with a front cover displaying the artist in a leather jacket and orange corduroy trousers. The sleeve includes a printed tracklist with titles such as Love of the loved, Alfie, and Sing a rainbow, and bears the Parlophone circular £ logo and the EMI logo at the bottom left corner. Also present is a various artists compilation titled 20 Star Tracks Vol. 1, which features artist logos for Free, Joan Baez, Jethro Tull, and The Sweet, and is marked as As seen on TV. The records feature various adhesive markings, including a white lot sticker reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 847, a round pink sticker marked 1.00, and a white price label marked 4650. A Decca label logo is visible on an additional sleeve lower in the stack.
Condition report:
The sleeve for The Best of Cilla Black shows significant creasing at the corners and along the spine edge, with a prominent vertical wear line running down the right side (photo 1). Multiple adhesive price and auction labels are adhered to the front cover (photo 1). The 20 Star Tracks Vol. 1 sleeve exhibits general shelf wear and corner creasing, with a pink price sticker attached to the top right (photo 2). The vinyl discs have not been removed from their sleeves and remain uninspected for surface marks, warps, or playback quality.
