Lot 873: A Modern Oak and Painted Wood Coffee Table / Media Unit
A modern oak and painted wood coffee table / media unit featuring a rectangular oak top with a natural finish, visible wood grain, and slightly rounded edges. The base is constructed with a cream painted finish and houses three storage compartments above a full-width open shelf. The storage section comprises two outer open-fronted bays, each fitted with a removable woven seagrass basket, flanking a central drawer. The drawer is equipped with a horizontal brushed metal bar handle. The unit is supported by a solid plinth base. A small white rectangular adhesive label is adhered to the front edge of the oak top, bearing the printed digits 873. No manufacturer’s marks or further labels are visible.

Condition report:
The unit is in used condition with visible scuffs and several small chips to the cream painted finish, particularly along the front edges of the frame and around the central drawer aperture (photo 1). The two woven baskets exhibit minor fraying and loose fibres to the seagrass material (photo 1). A light layer of dust and surface debris is present on the lower shelf and within the inner corners (photo 1).
