An antique Victorian button-back velvet armchair, featuring a deep-buttoned backrest with a shaped top rail. The chair is upholstered in a rose-pink ribbed velvet fabric, which is finished along the edges with a cream-coloured braided gimp trim. The wooden frame, constructed from a dark-stained hardwood, is characterised by unusual arms with vertical pierced-slat detailing.
