A George III style fall-front bureau constructed from oak. The piece features a sloping fall-front that opens to reveal a fitted interior containing four pigeonholes and two vertical compartments. The carcass houses three long, graduated drawers, each fitted with decorative brass batwing backplates and drop bail handles, complemented by central brass keyhole escutcheons. The bureau is raised on four bracket feet. No maker’s marks, signatures, or cabinetmaker labels are visible on the interior or exterior surfaces.
