A vintage pine Welsh dresser of traditional English country design, featuring a two-part construction with a glazed upper display rack over a cupboard base. The upper section is configured with two single-door glazed cabinets, each with scalloped top rails and turned wooden knobs, flanking a central bank of two open shelves. The interior is backed with vertical tongue-and-groove pine planks and the top and bottom are finished with decorative scalloped friezes. The lower sideboard base comprises three frieze drawers above three single-door cupboards, all fitted with antiqued brass-toned metal drop handles. The unit is finished with a warm medium-brown stain. The drawer interiors are constructed with modern composite or plywood bases. There are no maker’s marks or manufacturer labels visible on the piece.
