Lot 1052: A Trio of Framed Wall Decor including an Ornate Oval Mirror
A trio of framed wall decor including an ornate oval mirror, a landscape oil painting, and a wildlife print. The landscape artwork is an oil painting on board depicting a provincial scene with a prominent church spire and autumnal foliage, set within a gilt-finished wooden frame with a stepped profile. Indistinct dark marks are present to the bottom right corner of the painting but are not clearly legible as a signature or date. The wildlife print depicts a Canada goose with its goslings on water, presented in a modern black frame with a gold-tone inner fillet and double matting in cream and brown tones. An illegible signature is visible to the lower right corner of the print. The mid-20th century ornate oval wall mirror features a moulded composite frame in the Rococo-revival fashion with openwork scroll and shell motifs, finished in a non-original bright yellow paint.
