Buyer's Premium:

This counter-top balance scale is constructed with a white vitreous enamel cast iron base and a black-painted cast iron mechanism. The design features a central pivot supporting two platforms: a large, shallow, round sheet metal weighing pan and a smaller oval-shaped cast iron plate intended to hold weights. The underside of the primary pan shows remnants of green paint. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or manufacturer labels visible on the body of the scale.
