Lot 115: A Collection of Potted Achillea millefolium Cerise Queen Yarrow
A collection of potted Achillea millefolium ‘Cerise Queen’ yarrow, featuring the genus’s characteristic feathery, fern-like green foliage. The plants are housed in terracotta-coloured plastic nursery pots, with several contained within a black plastic transport tray. The collection includes a white adhesive label with the handwritten purple inscription ‘5803 ACHILLEA’. A secondary printed label is partially visible, showing text fragments ‘…hille…’, ‘…mi…folium’, and ‘…Cer… Qu…’, which identify the specimens as the common yarrow cultivar ‘Cerise Queen’. The plants exhibit dense, vibrant green growth at the base of the stems, which rise to support the remnants of the season’s flower heads. The foliage is finely divided and bipinnate, providing a soft, textured appearance against the vertical stems.
