Lot 157: A Collection of Assorted Trade and DIY Hand Tools including Stanley and Ryobi Examples
An assortment of workshop, masonry, and woodworking hand tools housed in a clear plastic storage bin.
The collection features a Stanley RB5 block plane, with the maker’s name STANLEY and model RB5 cast into the black metal body and printed on the yellow plastic cap. A black plastic mitre box is included for guided angled cuts. There are two wood chisels: one with a modern yellow and black ergonomic handle and another older style with a tapered wooden handle and red residue on the blade.
Tiling and masonry tools include a Tile Mate mosaic trowel, bearing a blue and white adhesive label reading TILE MATE, MOSAIC TROWEL, 4 mm square notch, Applies mosaic adhesive, and Art. 600.049. A pointing trowel with a pink and black rubberised handle and a large-gauge spiral masonry drill bit are also present.
Electrical and maintenance items consist of a Ryobi cordless 18V flashlight in characteristic fluorescent yellow and black plastic; the head is marked RYOBI and the side label includes RYOBI, 18V, 0.6A, CE, and a date code appearing to be 06 2010.
