Lot 16: A Pair of Vintage Cast Iron and Steel Hydraulic Bottle Jacks
A pair of vintage cast iron and steel hydraulic bottle jacks, finished in a distressed red paint. Each unit is constructed with a central cylindrical body mounted to a rectangular cast foot plate, featuring a threaded adjustable saddle at the apex and integral sockets for the insertion of operating handles. One jack bears a printed white label to the body reading HYDRAULIC BOTTLE JACK and specifies a lifting capacity of 2000 kg. The pieces exhibit the heavy-duty utilitarian construction characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century automotive equipment. The internal mechanisms appear intact, though their functional status has not been tested.
