A vintage ITT KA 1026 record player with BSR turntable, likely dating from the 1970s. The integrated music system is housed in a wood-effect laminate cabinet with a black plastic turntable plinth and a silver-tone metal control fascia. The unit features four vertical slider controls for balance, volume, bass, and treble, alongside push-buttons for disc and tape. The turntable is a multi-speed auto-changer deck manufactured by Birmingham Sound Reproducers. The silvered fascia is printed with the maker’s name and model ‘ITT KA 1026’. The turntable platter mat is marked with a central circular inscription reading ‘PRECISION CRAFTED IN GREAT BRITAIN BY BSR’. A stylus assembly is marked ‘LPS’. The deck includes mechanical control levers for speeds of 45 and 78 rpm, record sizes of 7, 10, and 12 inches, and a function switch for ‘STOP’, ‘START’, and ‘AUTO’.
