Lot 287: Two Vintage Leather and Aluminium Folding Shooting Sticks
Two vintage leather and aluminium folding shooting sticks, comprising one two-handled model and one three-handled model. The first stick features a two-handled folding seat frame made of cast aluminium, with the upper loops bound in brown leather. It has a dark-stained wooden shaft terminating in a metal ferrule and a tapered spike tip. The second stick features a three-part folding seat bound in dark brown leather. The shaft is constructed from tapered metal, with a black-finished upper section and a bright-finished lower section. The foot consists of a metal spike with a circular ground plate and a black rubberised grip above the spike. The central hinge plate of this second stick is impressed with characters reading SEATANSTIC, MIDDLEMORES and PAT/APP.
