Lot 335: A Kilner Glass Beverage Dispenser
A Kilner glass beverage dispenser with a barrel-shaped body and a 5-litre capacity. The clear glass vessel features a wide neck and a matching glass lid, which is secured by a metal wire-work lever-lock mechanism and an orange rubber gasket. The front of the jar displays a moulded circular crest featuring the name KILNER in an arc, above EST 1842 and the word Original in script. The phrases 100% QUALITY and 5 LITRES are embossed beneath the crest. A chrome-finished toggle-action tap is mounted to the lower section of the jar, featuring a yellow adhesive label on the handle with the words Open and Close and directional arrows.
