Lot 343: An Assortment of Ceramics and Decorative Items including Carlton Ware
An assortment of ceramics and decorative items, featuring a Carlton Ware leaf-shaped dish in a green textured glaze with moulded red berry accents. The Carlton Ware dish is finished in a vibrant lime green glaze mimicking a cabbage leaf, with two prominent red berries and green leaves at the stem end. The base bears a printed black backstamp reading Carlton Ware MADE IN ENGLAND TRADE MARK alongside an impressed number 2013. Included is a boxed set of six cork-backed table mats with six matching coasters, each featuring various cottage garden scenes. The lot further contains a plain white glazed earthenware teapot, a multifaceted clear glass or crystal cluster, and a small rectangular ceramic dish decorated with a transfer-printed blackberry motif. A group of porcelain-headed collector dolls in fabric costumes is housed within a scalloped silver-tone metal dish. Additional items include a glass storage jar with a wire-bail lid and various ceramic mugs, including a souvenir example from Rio de Vigo.
