Lot 347: A Collection of Glass, Ceramic and Textile Kitchenware including Pyrex
A collection of glass, ceramic and textile kitchenware including Pyrex, featuring an assortment of domestic utility items. The glassware includes clear drinking glasses, faceted tumblers and a carafe decorated with a transfer-printed red poppy pattern and green leaves. A clear glass measuring jug is included, bearing a printed red mark reading ‘PYREX’ within an oval, with graduated measurements for ‘LITRE’ (400, 300, 200) and ‘PINT’ (16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4). The ceramic wares consist of several mugs in white, cream, and orange glazes, one of which features the partial text ‘That H’. A small promotional glass is also present, marked ‘HAGER SCHINKEN’ in blue print. The collection is completed by a quantity of chequered kitchen towels in green and blue.
