Lot 361: An Assortment of Four Decorative and Utility Walking Canes and Sticks
An assortment of four decorative and utility walking canes and sticks of varying materials and designs. The collection includes a light-coloured wooden walking stick, possibly hazel or chestnut, featuring an integral bent-wood crook handle and three bands of pyrographed ornamentation with repetitive charred elliptical and linear motifs. A further cane features a maroon composite Derby-style handle and a metal shaft finished in a repeating geometric lozenge and triangle pattern in shades of maroon, orange, and yellow. Also present is a utility cane with a grey ergonomic plastic handle and a metal shaft encased in a textured camouflage-patterned wrap, terminating in a grey rubber ferrule, alongside a plain dark-stained wooden walking stick with a simple curved handle. No makers marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the items.
