Lot 391: An Assortment of Household Decorative Items Accessories and Small Artworks
An assortment of household decorative items, accessories, and small artworks, many of which are housed in original presentation or retail packaging. The collection includes a large oval frosted glass platter featuring red rose motifs and gold scrolling foliage borders, inscribed in gold lettering 40 years Ruby Wedding Anniversary. This piece is presented in a dark brown hinged box with a white padded lining. A turquoise-tinted wine glass is inscribed 40 AND FEELING Fantastic! and contained within a turquoise retail box with an iridescent interior. There is an assortment of clear pressed glass decanters and bottles of varying shapes, including one with a glass stopper. Ceramics include a small white porcelain vase with a gold rim and floral decoration, and a small ceramic bell with floral transfer designs. Tableware consists of a red circular plate and a yellow segmented plastic plate. A ladies fashion watch features a silver-tone flower-shaped case and a bright yellow dial marked ZEON and QUARTZ, fitted with a silver-tone expansion bracelet and presented in a green cardboard box. Two pairs of leather gloves are included, one pair in black and one pair in dark brown with decorative contrast stitching. A clear glass jar has a black metal lid printed with white text VEERASWAMY BRITAIN’S OLDEST INDIAN RESTAURANT 1926. Artworks include a small square print in the Oriental style depicting white flowers and a yellow butterfly in a gilt-finished frame, and a highly textured impasto beach scene painting on a deep-edge canvas, signed S. Abbott in the upper right corner. A heart-shaped wooden hanging plaque features cat photographs. The items are contained within several large reusable storage and cooling bags.
