Lot 474: Two Mid-Century Modern Style Polished Chrome Table Lamps
Two table lamps of differing mid-century modern designs, each featuring polished chrome-finished metal bases and fabric drum shades. The first lamp features a faceted hexagonal polished metal column base on a square mount at the socket. It is fitted with a clear plastic-insulated cable and a white three-pin UK plug. The plug is embossed with the characters BS1363/A, JH 838, 3A 250V~, and an N within a circle. This lamp is topped with an off-white cylindrical fabric drum shade. The second lamp is designed with a flared trumpet-style polished metal base tapering to a slender neck. It is fitted with a black plastic-insulated cable and a black three-pin UK plug. The plug bears a red adhesive sticker stating FITTED WITH 3 AMP FUSE and the word FUSED embossed on the casing.
