Lot 49: A Vintage Blue Plastic and Galvanised Metal Extension Cable Reel
A vintage blue plastic and galvanised metal extension cable reel, manufactured in West Germany. The unit features a circular blue plastic drum mounted on a tubular galvanised metal stand with an integrated black plastic carry handle. The face of the reel is equipped with three UK 3-pin (BS 1363) power outlets and a centrally located red thermal cutout reset button. A length of black multi-core flexible cable is wound onto the drum, which includes a small black winding knob for retraction. The central black socket plate is embossed at the base with the readable text ‘Made in W. Germany’.
