A Weathermaster and Spectrum brass and hardwood barometer and quartz clock companion set, mounted vertically on a stained rectangular backboard fitted with brass corner brackets. The upper aneroid barometer features a brushed silvered dial graduated in both millibars and inches, with descriptive weather indications, a central cutaway revealing the mechanism, an auxiliary brass reference pointer operated via a central knurled boss, and printed text reading WEATHERMASTER. The lower quartz clock features a brushed silvered dial with black Roman numerals, a matching minute track, black spade hands, a red centre seconds hand, and is inscribed Spectrum Quartz, with MADE IN ENGLAND printed along the lower dial edge. Both instruments are enclosed within screw-mounted spun brass porthole-style bezels.
