Lot 600: A Polaroid Instant 10 Land Camera
A Polaroid Instant 10 land camera, a rigid-body instant film camera constructed from textured brown and black plastic. The front faceplate features a vertical multi-coloured rainbow stripe decal. The camera is equipped with a front-mounted plastic focusing lens, a green shutter release lever, a side-mounted square viewfinder, and a top-mounted accessory shoe for flash cubes. On the front faceplate, vertical white printed lettering reads POLAROID and the model name Instant 10 is printed at the bottom. The lens barrel is printed with white distance markings including infinity, 30, 15, 10, 5, and 3.5. The rear of the camera body has impressed lettering at the base reading POLAROID CAMERA. A black instruction plate is attached to the rear featuring diagrammatic guides numbered 1 to 3 and a developing timer graphic. An adhesive white paper label is present on the rear plate with handwritten numbers 1045, 1405, and 3.00. The camera features a large black plastic T-handle pull-tab for film processing. This model was designed to use Polaroid Type 80 series square format instant pack film.
